Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Account data — your email address (to sign you in), and a display name if you set one.
• Your content — the screenshots you upload and everything the engine derives from them: extracted text, design specs, text-erased background plates, translations (including your edits) and rendered locale variants.
• Billing state — your plan, render usage and purchase history. Card details are handled by Stripe and never reach us.
• Technical data — server logs and error reports needed to run and secure the service, and — only if you accept analytics cookies — website usage statistics (see below).

We do not sell your data, and we don't buy or enrich data about you.

Your images

Uploaded screenshots and their derived artifacts are stored on our object storage so you can review, re-render and export them. They are kept until you delete them: delete a screen or a project and its artifacts are removed from primary storage. We never use your images to train models and never show them to other customers.

Service providers that process your data

We use a small set of providers, each only for the purpose listed:

• Google Gemini, accessed through OpenRouter — the text found in your uploaded screenshots is sent to this AI model to be analyzed and translated into the locales you select.
• RunPod — GPU servers that run our rendering engine; your screenshots and specs are processed there to analyze the design and produce the localized images.
• Stripe — payment processing for subscriptions and render packs, including invoices and the billing portal.
• Email delivery — our email provider sends sign-in links and service notifications (for example, when your screens are ready for approval).
• Google Analytics — website usage statistics, loaded only after you accept analytics cookies in the consent banner. If you decline, it is not loaded.

Cookies

We set httpOnly session cookies to keep you signed in; these are required for the app to work. Google Analytics cookies are set only with your consent. We use no advertising cookies.

Emails

We email you sign-in links you request and notices about your account and work — such as screens ready for your approval.

Your rights and account deletion

You can delete screens and projects at any time from the app. To access, correct, export or delete your data — including deleting your whole account — email info@localeshot.com from the address you sign in with. We answer within 30 days.
